ContractMaker helps you generate draft service agreements and plain-language explanations based on your inputs. The service is designed for simple home and pet care services (for example, cleaning, lawn care, organizing, pool care, window and gutter cleaning, and pet sitting). We may decline or stop requests that fall outside this scope.
ContractMaker is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal services. The drafts and explanations are for general informational purposes only. No attorney-client relationship is created. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use any draft, and we recommend consulting a licensed attorney for legal advice.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these Terms.
You retain ownership of the information and content you submit, as well as the drafts generated from your inputs. You grant ContractMaker a limited license to host, process, and use your inputs and drafts to provide, maintain, and improve the service, including through our service providers.
You represent that you have the rights to submit the information you provide and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party rights.

Some features are free to use, while others (such as downloading documents) may require payment. Prices will be shown before purchase. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.
We rely on third-party providers (such as hosting, analytics, payment processing, and AI model providers) to deliver the service. Your use of the service may be subject to their terms and policies.
The ContractMaker platform, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by ContractMaker and its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service as provided. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the service without authorization.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your requirements. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ContractMaker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ContractMaker, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required to protect the service or other users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ContractMaker operates, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable laws.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
